I just read an article about Chinese Strategic overstretch.

Makes sense to me but it boils down to one thing.

Borders. The dashed lines on the PRC's western and SW borders are in dispute, they even fought a war with the USSR a while back. Look up the Great Game.

A few facts.

China. Nukes.

Pakistan. Nukes.

Afghanistan. 16+ years of war and no resolution.

Kyrgyzstan.  Cool name.

India. Nukes.

Kazakhstan. Where Russia launches its satellites. 

Uighurs. Repressed ethnic group in China and ISIS just gave them support. They occupy an area much larger than Texas. 

 It has been said the US has a soft underbelly but compared to China we are sitting pretty. It is all relative.
